Working Holiday Visa questionnaire
The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) is currently undertaking an Inquiry into the wages and conditions of overseas workers in Australia on the 417 Working Holiday Visa (WHV) . To be eligible to apply for a second year, 417 WHV visa-holders must undertake 88 days specified work in a designated regional area and in certain industries such as agriculture, forestry and fishing, construction or mining in their first year.
As part of this Inquiry the FWO is engaging with stakeholders and users of the program to discuss their experiences with the program, specifically the 88 day work requirement.
As an employer of 417 WHV holders the FWO is interested in seeking any feedback you have in relation to your experience with the 88 day work requirement.
