A leading stud farm here in Australia, prep yearlings, work with mares and foals, loads of general stable and yard work, Team of 28-30 people approx. Prestigious racehorse breeding stud in Widden Valley.

Typical duties
All general farm work stable, horse care, breeding assistance, cleaning, feeding duties.
General farm duties, clean, tidy, maintain.
Yearling handling for the more confident, looking after the mares for those with less confidence and skill.
Stud hands need to be able to put on a head collar, muck out a box, groom the horses.
General Stablehand and horse handler, sometimes in preparation for the magic millions sales.
Roles include Handyman/Carpenter - experienced carpenter required for cottage maintenance with or without tools.
Minimum of three months work but could extend to 12 months.
Requirements
Full driving licence (manual vehicles) essential.
Confident learners, good at taking instructions.
Sociable and friendly working in a team.
Living
Self catering accommodation, house on the property.
There is a shared staff car in the farm.
Travel
Widden Stud, 3.5 hours N of Sydney. Train to Musselbrook, 2nd VISA qualifying
Denman, 1 hour train ride from Melbourne,. NOT 2nd VISA QUALIFYING
