Cattle station with horses - general farm & station work.
Typical duties
Current role is inside / outside including housework and gardening.
Stock work: Drafting, mustering, weighing, vaccinating, and trucking.
Other duties: Running waters, putting out supplement, fence repairs.
Living
Self contained 4 bedroom quarters - shared. Phone signal / WiFi available. Vehicle available to experienced drivers.
Travel
Mackay is 240 km away and is the nearest large centre to fly into, with Paradise Coaches leaving Mackay for Moranbah at 1:45 PM seven days per week. There are flights to Moranbah week days only, with cheap flights mid week, eparting Brisbane about 6:20 AM. Moranbah is our closest town, 45 km away.
Working conditions and Pay
Depends on age and experience - higher than pastoral award. Above Award + Benefits
