Ype is from the Netherlands and completed a BA in media and culture. He worked as a barista and waiter, worked as a gardener, baby sitter, and did household chores, also worked in a supermarket and interned at his old elementary school. He is currently doing a gap year and would like to learn how to ride a horse and experience the outback life. He wants to work on a ranch but has no experience with horses.
STORY SO FAR:
Ype has a degree in Media and Culture from Utrecht University, which included 6 months exchange in Belfast. He plans to study for a masters in a similar subject, and hopes to follow a career as a writer.
He has worked for the last 5 years as a part time barman and waiter while studying, and also worked part time in an elementary school and in a gardening role. He completed 3 years of school in the USA while his father was working there.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Farm work beginner, Used to helping in the garden at home, a good cook, (thanks to Mum) and also used to taking care of his 3 younger siblings.
Full driving licence for 2 years. (confident driver, has driven on LHS of the road in Belfast)
PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Excellent Fluent English.
Enjoys several creative hobbies; writing, music, piano, drawing, reading. Also sporty and fit, plays tennis, soccer, swims. Open and flexible for work. Is a competent and switched on guy, bright, quick learner, fit, good at listening and taking instructions, practical (without having had much practice). Intelligent and loves a good conversation.
