STORY SO FAR:
Kim is from Germany. She has completed high school and plans to study to be an equine vet.
Her work experience has mostly been around horses, she has worked at her local stable during holidays, and volunteered weekly for her local sport and horse club, and worked in Austral at a riding stables for 10 days last summer. She has also completed 5 weeks of work experience at big animal vets.
She has also worked part time in a bakery along the way.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Keen intermediate ++ horsewoman, riding since age 6. For 7 years a horse owner, looking after every days, riding jumping, dressage and riding 2-3 horses regularly, at least 7h/wk, and jumping to 1.15. Has also competed in the Swiss national championships in horse quadrathlon (run, swim, jump and dressage)
Paid stablehand roles and also volunteering with riding clubs. Lots of riding on different horses, incl young horses, and also vaulting when younger. very keen to expand her skills with stablework, groundwork, breeding, training. Has also done large animal vet internships which she loved.
Full driving licence for 1 year, manual. Confident driver. Some small motorbike experience.
PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Good English, a smiley, humble and polite girl. Basic cooking skills..
Main interest is horses, also enjoys woodworking. Active, fit, used to physical and menial tasks in the stables. Enjoys being active and all other sports.
HOPING FOR: Very keen to work with horses, either ground, stable or riding work, ideally with some opportunity to ride. Keen also to learn about polo, track riding etc, Also interested in equine vet work, or helping with vet visits.
