Emeline, 21 France
From a farming family in Brittany, part time work on 120 cow family dairy farm (robotic), and some tractor exp (approx. 100 hrs) ploughing, feeding out, carting with trailers. Horse rider since age 6, show jumping competitor, riding young horses. |

Emeline is from the countryside, near the sea, in Brittany, W France.
She started a Uni course in marketing but did not feel it was for her, so has come to
She has worked since age 17 in various roles, in hotels and restaurants, and animal and plant stores, as a babysittr for a family of 6 (ages 6-14), in a drive in supermarket, a vet store and a cheese factory.
She comes from a small family dairy farm; over the last 2 years she has worked on average 6h/wk helping with milking on her fathers 120 head dairy farm, and has approx. 100 hrs of general tractor driving, normally hauling and feeding out etc. Some crops are also grown.
Her main interest is horse riding, she has competed in show jumping in regional and national competitions, loves riding out and working with horses; has done some work on behaviour of young horses.
Driving licence for 2 years. Confident driver of manual. Also approx. 100 hours of various day to day tractor tasks.
A friendly, smiley personality.
English level is not so good for Emeiline and Paloma. As their main aim is to learn English before working for as much time as possible they have agreed to volunteer together for 1 month while they get their English up to a better level.

She has worked since age 16, in summer jobs cleaning, in a pet shop, as a waitress, in supermarkets, and most recently full time in supermarkets.
She has ridden horses for 3 years age 13-16, approx. 4h/wk. Considers herself a keen beginner level rider. Some experience of stable work, tacking up and general horse care.
A normal standard cook, and a little experience of babysitting her neighbours children, age 3-6, a few times per week.
Pleasant, friendly, well mannered and respectful. Keeps herself fit with running and gym.
Her main aim is to develop her level of English, and then progress to a paid role working with her friend Emeline, with horses as stablehands.
