QUALIFIED WELDER / BOILERMAKER / METAL WORKER
Aiden has completed a full apprenticeship (academic and practical) as a manufacturer and fitter of steelwork, and has worked in the field for the last 5 years. Experienced in most types of welding and fabrication. Calm, well organised, switched on and career focused.
Keen to use and develop his skills, but also to learn new skills with farm machinery and livestock outside the workshop. Available for 6 months from 30 October 2023.
STORY SO FAR:
Aiden is from central Ireland. He has completed a 4 year work / study apprenticeship as a metal fabricator started age 18. He grew up in the countryside in central Ireland in a farming area.
He has a range of experience gained on jobs and as part of his training; building, fabrication, welding, formwork, general construction. A range of workshop and site experience, and has also worked for 4 months in transport & logistics.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Full driving licence 5 years, dirt bikes, tractor with trailers hauling muck and bales, forklift and cherry picker. Work at heights, confined spaces, banksman certificates.
PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Calm, thoughtful and focused manner. Here to work and learn.
Hobbies include Gaelic Football, hurling and fishing. Keen to play Aussie rules at some stage.
Fit, mobile and used to physical and workshop environment. 6ft & 75kg
Keen for any general farm work, and in particular hopes to add machinery operation to his skillsets..
Here to work, hoping to gain experience of general farm work, vehicle, machinery, general and vehicle maintenance. Available for 6 months from 30 October 2023. from 30/10/2023
