1 Male required to help our farm manager with some irrigation, GFW, gardening, and general maintenance. Also be required to jump in a help with the horse work sometimes also.

Thoroughbred Horse Stud, Cattle.
It is a thoroughbred breeding farm.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Needing someone physically fit that is interested in horses and general farm duties.
- Previous horse experience is preferred.
- Your main duties will include but not limited to cleaning stables, feeding and grooming horses, basic farm maintenance and assisting senior staff with bandaging and the treatment of sick or injured horses.
- Gardening and general maintenance work.
- You will need to be able to drive a manual car
- If you enjoy riding there are ponies that can be used for riding in your spare time.
- We will sign off for 2nd year visa as long as you have done the required time. You provide us with paperwork and then we can sign off.
- We want a minimum of 3 months commitment however 6 months would be desirable.
- We have Telstra mobile only coverage on farm. The farm is located approximately 5km from Scone and there is a vehicle available provided you are licensed.
- Duties would include but aren’t limited to General Horse Husbandry which includes Feeding, Mucking out, Handling (for Farrier, Vet Work Etc.), Occasional Garden Maintenance (Mowing, Weeding etc).
- The position is a 6 day on and 1 day off. However if you need to go somewhere can discuss with your manager to arrange otherwise.

- Phone and internet not supplied but Telstra signal available on the property
- Company car for local use
- Nearest hospital at Scone, 8km, Nearest Doctor at Scone 8km
- Location - 10 mins south west of Scone (10km)
- Travel to Sydney, then train out to Scone.
Pay Information
- AWARD PLUS A % TO COVER EXTRA HOURS
- DEDUCTION FOR ACCOMMODATION
- Paid at the Pastoral award wage plus 20%
