Driving tractor, Hay making and thoroughbred horse care.

We are a horse and farming operation in central Victoria. We are about to commence hay season so someone with tractor, truck, Tele handler and experience would be ideal. Also an opportunity to work with horses feeding, mucking out and handling if suits their skill set. Currently foaling and about to commence yearling preparation.

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds is an industry respected, thoroughbred stud farm and family business on the Loddon River in Central Victoria approx. 90 mins from Melbourne. We are known for our passion for horses and commitment to excellence.
Our successes include holding the record for the highest priced yearling in Australasia and also in Victoria. Our strength is in preparing each individual yearling to be the best they can be.
Peak periods include the stud season (August - December) and yearling preparation (October - March).
We are looking for staff to assist with our thoroughbred yearling sales preparation. Working in a wonderful farm environment with great horses. General stables duties including cleaning stables, feeding horses and keeping the barn tidy. Horse skills highly advantageous.
Must have driving licence.
Typical Duties:
1 x mature semi experienced guy required for general farm work. Helping installing new irrigation lines, hay production, tractor driving, cattle and horse work.
Excellent employer with a very good track record of really looking after employees. Long term job available if needed.
Living
Accommodation is available on the property.
Vehicle available to go to town for groceries
Travel
Lots of local towns nearby including Maldon and Maryborough which have all services. Great place for recreational outdoor activities such as water skiing and hiking. Approximately 90 mins from Melbourne with all the big city has to offer!
Train to Castlemaine train station.
Working conditions and Pay
Great opportunity to work and get fit! Five days a week from 7am - 5pm including one day on the weekend. Pay under the Pastoral Award wage. Working with a great team, loads of opportunities to learn.
