Large station operated by Andrew George, mostly alone but various contractors etc come in as and when required.
46,000 acres, 12,000 sheep, 100 cattle, plus cattle on agistment. 4,500 acres of wheat.
46000 acre sheep station which is the main enterprise. Family property since 1946.
Semi arid country, mainly flood plan black soil
Easy place to work with great intro structure for the easy management!
Good house and garden with pool
Isolated from large town, Dubbo or Moree both about 350 km away
Typically in a team of 4-6, depending on the time of year.
Living
Can live in main house or have own cottage which is fully set up.
Food included.
Internet is available
Public transport from Dubbo on most days
Whole property has mobile coverage
Travel
Train from Sydney to Dubbo then bus to Brewarrina.
Can pick up from Lightning Ridge.
Working conditions and Pay
Award wages.
Requirements
Ability to cope with isolation, remoteness, living and working with a small team.
Able to use initiative to see and complete tasks needing to be done.
Willing to self start to get on with jobs as they need doing.
