Competent horse woman, graduate landscape designer, farm work all rounder, loves practical and hands on work. Has completed 10 months of farm work in AUS; 1 with endurance horses (6mths) & cattle station (4mths). Available from mid Sept approx for up to 4 mths work.

STORY SO FAR:
Tamara is a graduate landscape designer from Holland. She has been in Australia for approaching 1 year and has worked on different farms nearly all that time.
WORK IN AUS:
In AUS: has worked for 6 mths in an inside-outside role in QLD, working with sheep, chickens, riding and training endurance horses, attending endurance competitions, looking after guinea fowl, ducks, pheasants and looking after two boys age 5 and 6.
She then moved to a NT cattle station for 4 months, working in a lemon nursery, in the studshed, and looking after poddies.
Duties have included cleaning watertroughs, driving tractor with spraytank, feeding and looking after animals like calves, sheep, horses and chooks. Cleaning stables and studshed work, washing rugs and horse tack.
Driving a small truck in the paddock in hayseason.
BACK HOME:
Work back home has included flower nurseries, internships at 2 landscape design companies and at a logistics / distribution centre.
Horse rider from age 10-17, competent rider and used to being around horses on the ground from back home, and has built on that here in in AUS.
Full driving licence (manual, 6 years), also some tractor and farm vehicle experience.
PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Good level of English, well organised and straight forward. A hard worker, loves to get on with a job and enjoys hard working team work. Loves hiking and fitness, all outdoor activities. Skills with several computer design software packages

HOPING FOR: Keen to work with and around horses, sheep, or other farm work, but flexible so long as she is learning and gaining worthwhile experiences, and ideally with a few other people around.
Would love to find a role in WA, but is flexible about this also.
