General assistant on farm, household and gardens
Start date: start asap late October
Creina has asked for help on the farm. Her husband is recovering from an operation and she needs assistance with the farm, gardens, some cattle work and other general duties around the place.

Beef cattle production
We have a family run and owned beef cattle enterprise. We run Brahman Cattle in central Qld, over an area of approximately 100,000acres.
We operate on a free-range, grass-fed basis.
We live in a lovely old classic rambling Qld homestead.
Generally looking for fit, energetic and motivated hands on, applicants.
Employees do not generally require experience but do need to be keen and quick to learn, happy to try anything and enthusiastic for a real Australian outback experience.
We live in a fairly remote area, in that we do not visit towns, supermarkets etc on a regular basis.
That is....if you need a raging social life, this probably would not be the place for you.
Living
Accommodation is employees own room (or shared for 2 travelling friends) and own ensuite bathroom, in the homestead. Employees, live in as part of the family, and eat homegrown meat, vegetables and fruit with family.
We do not have mobile phone coverage, but have a land line, employees can bring a phone card and use the phone if nec. No problems if they only want to make local calls.
We have internet, but as in many parts of Australia, it is slow and expensive, but employees are able to keep in touch with family via email.
