Thoroughbred stud / we breed to sell racehorses
Rosari Farm is a family owned thoroughbred breeding farm. The work environment is intense but very rewarding, workers are required, to muck out stables, help with feeding the horses. leading and helping to educate young horses to be taken to various sales. Also other various farm jobs will be required at various times. This is not a horse riding job. General farming jobs also, tractor experience would be an advantage.
Opportunity to learn about race horses and how they are bred. Fun and friendly team and a great outback experience. Previous horse experience is a must, please do not apply if you do not have horse experience.
Hours of the job will be from 6:00am - 6:00pm we will be able to sign off on your second year visa, you will be required to work 7 days a week, while we are busy preparing the yearlings for sale, November - January
People with horse experience is a must from September to the end of January.
Typical duties
Looking for a person who is keen to work with horses.
More tractor driving (Farm work) and some horse groundwork.
Living
Food, accommodation and transport is supplied, but you will need to find your own transport to get to the farm when you first start working there.
Travel
The farm is located in the Gladfield valley, approximately 30 minutes from Warwick (2 hours from Brisbane).
