Cattle and horse work
Start date: Aim for start asap - first week of August 2023 14/08/2023
I am hoping for someone, just short term, 4 weeks to 6 weeks. Female, cattle work, domestic, feeding cattle , checking calving cattle,
Feeding horses and dogs,
Spraying trees,
Self contained accomodation, internet.

Beef cattle property
Here at Rocky Springs we run 2000 head of beef cattle on 3 properties. Main property is Rocky Springs and it is 76 km west of Mundubbera.
Typical duties
Girl for house, garden, position now involves more outside than before. An interest in horses would be an advantage. The job will also involve some cattle handling, putting out licks, fencing, weed spraying etc. I see it as 50/50 inside/outside.
Current or previous role info:
Previous role - Apr 2023
We are looking for general station hand, applicant will help with some domestic duties, cleaning vehicles, mowing, cattle work, spraying weeds, checking waters, and other station duties as needed.
Previous role - Feb 2022
We want a nice person with reasonable English to help with house cleaning, gardening, some cooking ,feeding cattle, checking heifers twice daily, cattle work as it presents itself. Farm maintenance. Looking after dogs etc. Being competent horse rider would be an advantage. Prefer a drivers licence.
Have had lots backpackers over the years, most have loved it. Another Jillaroo here to work with.
Living and Travel
Applicant will have a cottage that is shared occasionally with other staff, power and internet supplied. Mobile phone service is quite good at their house if are with Telstra.
Be best if applicant has a drivers licence and can handle working alone at times, and sometimes part of a team.
Self contained accommodation, sharing with Jillaroo or others. food provided. mobile ph network available for Telstra phones
80km from Mundubbera, 400km NE from Brisbane
Pay Information
Award wage and can count towards visa. 38 + hours per week.
