STORY SO FAR:
Nicolas has worked as a Nuclear technician since 2018 (5yrs) and is just about to complete a 2 year technical apprenticeship with EDF in the Nuclear Power division, (50/50 work study), and is in AUS to undertake 3 months of work placement before returning to France to complete the internship in March 2023. He will follow his career as a Nuclear Engineer. Attended specialist pre-Engineering pathway high school.
WORK IN AUS:
Nicolas worked for 10 weeks on a dairy property in VIC, before heading home as planned to complete his studies. Duties included moving cattle, milking, bike and tractor work, other machinery, fencing, feeding, some work with bulls. Positive reference from this employer available if required.
He loved farm work here, so is very keen to return to do more.
BACK HOME:
His work at EDF includes technical maintenance of pipes, cooling systems, valves etc.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Full driving licence, (4yrs) experienced driver, very handy on all kinds of motorbike, owns an 800cc (3yrs), moderate experience on quads, & a few hours tractor driving when younger, a confident driver and quick learner with vehicles. Has mechanical skills and can do basic welding. Enjoys repairing old motorbikes, old cars and old tractors, handy with different sort of tools, enjoys being in the workshop.
PERSONALITY, ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Good English, much improved from his work here in AUS, a smiley friendly personality, likes working with others / in a team.
Into adrenaline sports, paramotors, skydiving.
Fit, and comfortable with physical, hands on, dirty farm work. 173cm & 65kg
