Beef cattle (Droughtmaster X), sheep (dorpers), grain, feedlot transfer facility, horses and fodder crops
Henbury Station - they run 10,000 Doughtmaster cross cattle comprising 5,168 square kilometres and located some 230km south of Alice Springs, NT.
Kalabity Station, a well-established sheep station located in South Australia, 120 km West of Broken Hill and approximately 450km North East of Adelaide. They run approx 20,000 dorper sheep.
'Muanu' feedlot/transfer facility, Clare SA - Can hold between 500-2000 cattle anywhere from a few days up until 1-2 months.
Emily and Tim (and their 3 teenage children) have their family home at Spring Gully (500 acres), 10 minutes from Clare Valley, SA (south west of Clare). At this location Emily breeds horses (percheron cross horses). Generally there are 12-15 horses at different stages of breaking in / ages. Used for recreational riding and some for mustering.
Typical duties
Stable hand, ground work for percheron cross horses.
Employer has 12-15 horses in various stages of breaking/training.
Worker could have the opportunity to ride if they are confident/capable (the employer will assess the workers ability).
Tasks could include (but are not limited to)
Stable work, handling young horses (yearlings, 2 year old, 4 year olds)
Horse handling, lunging, catching horses and moving to different paddocks and stables, brushing, washing, mucking out stables, leading horses,
feeding, watering, checking horse health and reporting any health issues to employer.
Opportunity to ride the more mature breaker horses (for those who are very good riders - the employer will assess these skills to determine is riding is possible)
Some light garden tasks/maintenance also required as instructed by employer.

The have a large team of staff across the different station locations (approx 50 people)
