GENERAL INFO
Mt Hope Station is a mixed farming property & large-scale producer of goats (20,000), sheep, dorpers (10,000), Angus cattle (300) and cropping (wheat & barley - 10,000 acres) in the NSW Western Division.

Our mission is to continually generate high-quality station-bred rangeland composite goats. We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards, ensuring our operations are not only sustainable in the long run, but also aligned with our broader commitment to environmental stewardship.
The team
We have 130 full time employees in our grain and transport business and 8 to 10 fulltimers at our farms between Mt Hope Station in central NSW, Colac in Victora and Ceres at Geelong.
Accommodation
All accommodation is renewed in the past 2 to 3 years.
All reverse cycle with AC'S, Ceiling fans, Smart TV'S, Starlink, UHF'S, washing machines.
Linen supplied. Self washed weekly.
All meals supplied weekly, weekends help yourself.
Just snacks and own drinks needed.
Would prefer if they have transport but a couple of utes available for limited use to town or travel with other staff.
Up to 6 to 10 others on site weekly.
Safety inductions done.
Must be neat and tidy and be able to clean up after themselves in houses and mess hut to leave the way they found it.
Payrate
Wages rates normally on a casual basis and ranges from $30 to $40 per hour depending on experience and tasks. Paid weekly plus super and tax taken out as per law. Approx 45hrs a week but as many hours as they like depending on experience and person.
