Cropping property. We are working on 500ha cropping farm with different varieties of seeds. 1 worker and son helping on school holidays. Sorghum, grain and seed, sunflower seed, dolichos seed and watermelons.
General farm work, tractor driving and repairs.
Typical duties
Seed cleaning shed operator.
This will be general farm work , harvesting and planting for seed production.
He will life in accommodation share house in town with other young people near to the little shop.
Current or previous role info:
Seasonal seed cleaning shed operator July to December.
Living and Travel
Share house accommodations, food not provided, Telstra phone signal and internet, bus connection to Lakeland from Cairns or by own vehicle and to work by own vehicle or supplied by employer. Occasionally on the weekend he can go with some friends from his house to Cooktown for a bigger shopping.
Is good to do groceries shopping in Cairns on Saturday before he will go on the bus on Sunday .
Nearest IGA shop and hospital is in Cooktown 80 km away.
Little general store , Roadhouse and Pub is in Lakeland.
Meals and food not provided.
Phone and internet available.
