Large scale beef cattle station 90km North of Julia Creek.
Acton Cattle Company is a family owned business with 4 properties across QLD.
Millungera Station is the biggest property with 32,000 head of breeding cattle.
We have a friendly team of staff and contractors at the station creating a happy and fulfilling experience for everyone.
The outstation cook provides 4 balanced meals a day for breakfast, morning tea, and dinner for about 10 people. Example, cooked breakfast, cakes and a savoury for morning tea, sandwiches for lunch and spaghetti Bolognese for dinner. Meals are beef based.
Domestic duties as part of the role include keeping the kitchen and communal area clean and tidy, washing at the outstation helping the cook at the main homestead.
We will help you meal plan and organise your food before you get to the outstation. It is a 30 minute drive from the main homestead. Domestic help for gardening, cooking, general homestead upkeep. Camp Cook with kitchen facilities.

Gardener role and domestic help role
A bit of everything, mowing, gardening, cleaning, studying, cooking, some bits and pieces around the property and station, up until Christmas and maybe beyond also
Living
Single private room in shared quarters with air conditioning. Internet available at the main staff kitchen. No mobile signal.
