cattle station
110’000 acre, multi generational, family owned cattle station in North west Qld. Breeding beef cattle. We have horses, a few sheep, goats, alpacas, chickens, cats and dogs. We also have a large garden with mangoes, lychees, black sapotes and carambolas just to name a few.
Lovely family station, 7 workers. very friendly environment.
Typical duties
Multiple roles depending upon work and time of year. from station hand, machinery operation, nanny, domestic helpers, gardener and all round positions.
Living
separate living quarters, eat meals with family.
Travel
Greyhound bus from BNE to Cloncurry. Just after Longreach, participant must ask driver to get off at the Eloisa Mine Turnoff. Drivers swap at Longreach, so don't ask before then, and don't ask when booking as they say it doesn't exist.
Working conditions and Pay
$award rate paid - can do 2nd year visa
