It is a million acres, located on Plenty Highway half way between Alice Springs and NT /Qland border.
Macdonald Downs is a busy cattle station , a breeding herd of Santa Gertrudis based herd .
Our cattle are quietly handled, well cared for and genuinely commitment for their best outcomes.
MacDonald Downs Store is the station based rural community store situated here on the station , it is open 7 days a week for nominated hours to offer our customers good service and opportunities for their fuel, grocery lines and souvenirs.
Ideally; we are keen to source workers who are happy to be part of the team, help out with station, or cattle or general homestead work. There is a good renumeration package offered, with free accommodation , meat & rations and WIFI included.
Strong work skill sets , non-smoking policy, open driver’s licence experienced operating manual vehicles .
Accommodation is single room, furnished, clean and tidy with hot water systems , air conditioning and fair condition. “
