GENERAL INFO
28,000 beef cattle and 2,000 acres of crop farming country. A large scale beef operation in the gulf.
Lorraine Station is a 240,000Ha cattle property, 240Km north west of Cloncurry, QLD. We employ approximately 20 people seasonally March to November. The crop farm is 2000 acres and uses both dryland and flood irrigation practices growing maize and various hay crops.
Preferred skills of successful applicant would be:
Good work ethic ,self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
•Able to work as part of a team
•Previous farming experience is beneficial
•Operation of farming machinery benificial
•Driver’s license
•Neat and tidy habits
•Physically fit and healthy and able to perform manual labour
•Board and single accommodation supplied.
Current or previous role info:
Role in 2019 - 1 x Gardener required.
We have an opening for 3 months plus, for a fit and healthy person to take care of our lawns and gardens, feeding animals, general property maintenance including painting buildings.
Feeding animals is part of the daily tasks.
Also assisting others with jobs at our farm and with our cattle crew will occur periodically.
accommodation and meals are supplied as part of the package.
Living and Travel
All meals and airconditioned accommodation supplied, free WIFI.

20-30 people work on the property.
