Throughbred Stud, Australian Stock Horse and Quarterhorse operation
Kenmore Lodge was established in 2009 by Cameron and Kellie Bond, both accomplished horse people who dreamed of making it big in the thoroughbred world. In a relatively short space of time they’ve made their presence felt with multiple success stories in the auction ring and on the racetrack. This family-owned business started from nothing and is now prominent player at Australia’s major thoroughbred sales, particularly the breeze up sales, selling to industry big-hitters like Gai Waterhouse, Peter and Paul Snowden, and Peter Moody. Kenmore Lodge has topped the Magic Millions Horses In Training Sale twice since 2010 and sold several other six-figure lots through their drafts. Cameron Bond, a former Australian champion bronc rider, has gained a wealth of experience with racehorses having worked with Shaun Dwyer, a foreman for the esteemed Bart Cummings, and ridden trackwork at Toowoomba before embarking on the Kenmore Lodge journey. His business and life partner Kellie is an avid campdrafter and won an Australian title in 2008. Together, Cameron and Kellie are a formidable union, who have lived by the mantra “sink or swim”.
Role
We are on the lookout for people passionate about working with thoroughbreds. Experience essential.
Accommodation
At the moment the accommodation would be in our own home! 5 bedrooms new home,pool etc!
Would have a toilet and bathroom of their own!
Working conditions and Pay
We have 5-6 other young people employed here as well!
Would be some weekend work involved!
