Cattle & Sheep stations
Jumbuck have several large properties across South and West Australia. Roles vary from sheep station hands to cooks, domestics, and other roles from time to time.
Initial information about each property is best obtained from the Jumbuck website.
Jumbuck Pastoral is a large scale cattle and sheep station owner and operator who own several stations across South and West Australia.
Your employment could be at one or more of these stations.
Duties & Responsibilities (can vary due to time of year):
Mustering, droving, water runs, drafting sheep, lambmarking, crutching, branding, backlining, irrigation, plant servicing and maintenance.
Maintenance work, cleaning tanks moving stock then helping prepare for shearing.
Station cook and other inside-outside roles are also occasionally available.
Single accommodation, 3 meals per day provided.

• Due to limited ranges of food options on station unfortunately specific dietary requirements cannot be catered for.
• Some livestock practices in Australia can be confronting for some people. If concerned please speak with VisitOz or Shane at Jumbuck Pastoral.

Jumbuck provide arrange their recruitment details from from their head office in Adelaide, so specific job descriptions are best obtained from them and in direct conversation.
The Team:
Generally Depot is about 4-6 people and the main homestead is around 10-15, however numbers can vary depending on where the crew might be working that day or week. (ie. based out of Depot or Homestead)
There is Telstra signal at the Homestead and wifi at both locations, single person quarters etc.
The Depot position as come up as the person there (WHV) has reached the end of their time and it was the wife of the Overseer at Homestead who has been cooking. Her job is changing shortly and she will transition out of the job once the new person comes on deck.
Living
Food and accommodation is provided within the award wag structure. The appropriate deductions may apply at the employers discretion.
Travel
Directions:
SA Stations: Fly to Adelaide. Transport via bus available to stations in north west and north east regions of SA, departing Adelaide.
WA Stations (Rawlinna): Fly to Perth. Onward travel to be coordinated with Shane at Jumbuck Pastoral via Kalgoorlie.
