STORY SO FAR:
Julia is from Bavaria, Germany, close to the Czech border.
She completed high school in a business focused school, then a 1 y apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, followed by a 3y apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade in before working in several full time jobs. This included 1y in internal sales, 3mth in a call centre, 3mth in production in a ceramic company, 5mth at a camp site in N Italy before heading to AUS.
WORK IN AUS: She has worked for a short period as a nanny / helper for an ag business couple in Mt Isa. This is ok, but she has realised it is not really what she wanted or intended to do here.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Her grandparents owned a small farm when she was a child, and she has since volunteered on a horse property in return for riding. She took riding lessons regularly approx. 1h/wk age 6-16, riding in arenas and in the country. Considers herself an intermediate rider, but out of practice for the last 5 years. Looking forward to getting back into it.
PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES AND INTERESTS:
Well organised, active and physical, fit and strong, smiley, friendly and grounded, with very good English. German, and also speaks Spanish.. An OK cook. Lots of children in the family, age 2-10 enjoys being around children.
Enjoys swimming, horses, run, bike, dog walking. Also enjoys building furniture. Her father is a craftsman plumber and she often helps out; enjoys practical and hands on tasks. (built own shelf and rabbit hutch), watch and help with small maintenance and renovation work, enjoys grooming and care for animals, farming activities cleaning out stalls, bedding and stalls and cutting the grass in the garden, and house keeping skills.
HOPING FOR:
Looking to work for 6 months, ideally with / around horses, and keen to include children also.
