GENERAL INFO
(please note that this is general information and may not be specific to your role)
Racehorses / Horse trainer
One person needed to help me to take care of six race horses. There are possibilities to travel with me.
i live by myself with my dog and six horses. I'm looking for someone to help me take care of the horses and likes to talk during the travels i'm going to make, because it is getting harder for me to take care of everything by myself. I want someone that can stay for at least three months.
It's a part time job, there is plenty of time for yourself and to do fun things.
A normal work day starts around 7 AM with riding and lunging the horses. Cleaning of the stables, moving the horses from stable to paddock and feeding the horses must be done too. i have a gear quad bike so the feeding can be done quick. the quad bike can only be used on the property. After that you got the time for yourself until 5 PM then you bring the horses back to there places and feed them again. Feel free to clean the place if you feel like it.
All the horses have different characters. They are great once you get to know them.
Food is not provided but i'll pay for dinner. Once a week i eat pizza. An other day we go out for dinner, to friends or restaurant. My friends are social and really lovely to meet, just like my family. You won't feel alone because you can always come over with the quad bike to the house boat if you feel like talking.
In March i will go to Alice springs. i got 5 acres of farm, there are just stables. It's a beautiful city to discover. After maybe two months i move on to Darwin. There is everything you need, even better then Sydney. In November i go back again to Murray Bridge.
In Murray Bridge you have your own place, nearby the stables. it's a caravan with a new air conditioning, television, microwave and water cooker. There is a Queen bed but not for really tall person.
In Alice Spring you have a bigger caravan with 3 separate rooms. Kitchen, bedroom and living room. It has everything that the caravan is Murray bridge as well
In Darwin is like the other places. There is the most fun for the free time you have. the city is amazing and there are a lot of adventures to explore.
