geNeral information
Gunnegalderie is a family run merino breeding operation situated 30km NE of Wellington in central west NSW. Joining 3200 ewes (including 850 stud ewes), on 5200 acres of undulating to hilly grazing country with a 600mm average annual rainfall.
We also run a merino breeding operation at Brewarrina in western NSW on 100,000 acres of native grazing country where we join 6,000 – 8,000 merino ewes.
Job - Welding work (cattle feeders) & General Farm & sheep work
Brief job description - Worker required as an offsider.
Job description -
*General farmwork, working with sheep (drenching / yard work)
*Some welding to help make cattle feeders
*Motorbike riding & mustering (preferable that worker know how to ride 2 wheeler motorbikes)
*Fencing work
Farming work includes
Mustering, fencing, drenching, weed control, lamb marking and other general maintenance.
Welding work includes
Welding cattle feeders, dog cages, cattle and sheep yards and other custom projects.
Accommodation
Is provided at no cost (as part of the employment package)
Accommodation is shared accomodation with employer Will on farm (own single room) - sharing a kitchen and bathroom
Food - worker to provide own food (employer will arrange for worker to get into town to buy their own food etc)
