Located on the Liverpool Plains, 20km West of Quirindi NSW
3500HA mixed farming operation
75% Arable, of which 50% is Irrigation and 50% Dryland cropping
Irrigation is a half overhead consisting of pivots and laterals, and half flood irrigation
We do our own Harvesting, Planting and Spraying
We usually run 250 breeders, and bring progeny to 400-500kgs.
We run up to date machinery, mainly John Deere, and have a new set of cattle yards.
On farm accommodation is provided, a small cottage for an individual or couple. Or a 2 bedroom for 2 individuals.
On farm Vehicle is provided but preferable if applicant comes with on road vehicle.
Typical duties
Typically we are looking for a general farmhand that has some experience with machinery. The role would include machinery operation, Irrigation shift work, cattle handling and other general farm duties.
