Typical duties
Stock work if needed.
Other duties: Polo groom - exercise 10 polo horses & groom and practice & competitions. Mondays off.
Current or previous role info:
We require a fun person to join our team at North Star as a polo groom. The person should be a very confident rider and happy to work alone for large parts of the day.
Duties will include caring for our team of polo horses and grooming, rugging, feeding and exercising them. Also preparing them for practice weekend games and tournaments. We travel to about 4 tournaments away and 2 at home so we require the person to travel and care for the horses as well as tack up and down and look after all the tack. It's a fun job. There are many other girls grooming for other players. So you will get to know them.
We have a nice young community here at North Star to get involved in to. We can teach you about the polo but you must be a confident rider.
Living and Travel
3 Bedroom house (currently shared with a Scottish guy) - car provided for private use
Own food required - when travelling we buy all food.
Bus to Goondiwindi if comming from Queensland
Train to Moree if coming from Sydney
