Fencing Contractor
Fencing, Building cattleyards, working in remote outback conditions

Typical duties
The job is building fences and steel yards on farms and remote stations.
It is hot dusty work out in the sun all day. We work from daylight till dark. 6 days a week.
You need to be emotionally and physically strong with a positive attitude, Energetic and Enthusiastic personality to make the most of the experience.
Also you must be able to resonate with our Businesses five Core Values;
1) Strength in Self
2) Do What You Say
3) Safety Minded
4) Leadership in All of Us
5) Respect
We have documented inductions and site safty meetings.
There is opportunities for on the job training, tractor driving, welding, and maintenance as well as fence building techniques.
* Have a Visa that allows you to work in Australia
* Have a Drivers License,
* Phone with a TELSTRA Sim Card ( because in most remote areas Telstra is the only supplier )
* Be prepared to not have Internet OR phone signal for up to 1 MONTH and worn you family and friends of this.
* Want to stay for at least 3 months
* Non smokers preferred
The Team:
Most of the time I work with a team of 2 to 8
Living
Onsite camping in swags on camp beds
Travel
You can fly or bus to Winton, QLD where we could pick you up.
Working conditions and Pay
The pay rate with overtime works out to be an average of $300 or more per working day, plus superannuation.
I supply you with Camp out Accommodation ( Swag on a Camp Bed) and Healthy Food at no Cost.
When we come into our home town of Winton there will be a room available for you in our family home in return for some help around the home, garden and our Kangaroo Joeys as my partner is a registered Wildlife rescuer/carer.
You welcome to bring your own van.
You will receive payslips that Qualify for your second or Third year Visa if needed.
* There is no Alcohol or Drugs allowed in the camp.
* Camp duties such as Cooking, Cleaning are shared by all. Camp hygiene is your responsibility.
* Being Respectful to others such as:-
* Using "English" as the common Language (This is Mandatory )
