Potato and beef property - potato harvest hands
Start date: Start asap November 2023
Family owned and operated business located on the Atherton Tablelands.
We are predominately a Potato Farm but we do run some cattle as well. We have two crops a year.

Potato grading - Shed and Harvester
Potato packing - Shed
Tractor work - Driving beside the harvester
Workshop work - for the right applicant - ability to weld highly

Always needing labour for harvest.
800 acres of red volcanic red soil.
We live on the Atherton Tablelands, 3500 feet above sea level. So in winter we can get down to a minus & in summer we do not get the humidity that they have on the coast.
Do you have any special requirements at particular times of the year ?
end June/July/Aug & Nov/Dec/Jan is our potato harvesting.
Living
Accommodation on farm. Cook for themselves. Take them to town to buy their own food.
Working conditions and Pay
The pay is casual award rates.
Approx $27 per hour (July 2023)
