Switched on vehicle and motorbike enthusiast, keen horseman. 3 months dairy (with beef + sheep in AUS. Railway, construction and landscaping work exp. Keen for any general farm work, especially hopes for the chance to learn to work with farm vehicles, machinery, maintenance, welding and fencing. WORK IN AUS:
Has worked for 3 months on a mixed dairy farm in Victoria.
The main task is milking cows twice a day in two different shifts.
There also is a lot of work with calves during the calving season, including feeding, raising, teaching and growing them into the herd.. I got some more experience in working with sheep including: drenching, marking, and growing lambs. Also working with beef cattle and sheep is a big job on the farm.
Another job for me is to operate machinery like tractors and loaders to plow fileds, transport hay, and much more.
STORY SO FAR: BACK HOME
Finn is from Cologne in NW Germany. He has completed high school, has the option to go to Uni, but is not sure what his path will be yet.
Has worked 1 mth for German railways replacing sleepers on the tracks, 1 month working as a pipe layer in the construction industry, and has been working for 2 years PT as a landscaper / gardener as a weekends and holiday job while still at school.
RELEVANT SKILLS:
Enthusiastic horseman; Has ridden Icelandic horses for 7 years, loves riding, so keen to do more with horses if the opportunity arises. Beginner to Intermediate horseman.
Full driving licence, 2yrs, confident driver. Also tractor driving (300+ hours in paddocks and snowploughing), motorbike licence, 3 yrs (1000+ hours) motorbike riding 125cc road bike, used to driving with a trailer. Also has a chainsaw ticket. Basic mechanical experience from maintaining his chainsaw and bikes.

Polite, smiley, bright and switched on. Excellent English..
Hobbies include skiing, riding bikes, swimming and climbing. Fit, active, and enjoys being practical.
