​Position on a large sheep/wheat property west of Dubbo, NSW.
 
The position involves all aspects of animal health, relating to sheep and horses, farming as well as the maintenance of the property, machinery and buildings.
 
The work involves, but is not limited to
  • mustering on 4-wheel bikes,
  • working in sheep yards,
  • tractor driving,
  • fencing,
  • spraying,
  • gardening,
  • painting of buildings,
  • working with horses.
 
Five days per week normally. During peak periods you need to be adaptable.
 
Comfortable airconditioned accommodation provided – that you are expected to keep clean.
 
Eligible for 88day sign off. But we would like someone who wishes to stay 6 months or more.
 
Applicants must be physically capable, honest, neat and tidy and have a good command of English.

GENERAL INFO

Sheep, Wheat & Dressage Horses. Sheep and Wheat property in NSW with dressage horses too.  Role would also include some general farm work (GFW), but mainly a lot of ground work with the horses and some riding, help with sheep and crop parts of the business from time to time depending on skills and requirements. 

Normally seeking 1 female to assist us with all our farm and horse work.
This will include fencing, stock work, tractors and motorbike use, and some horse ground work.

Typical duties
Position on a large sheep/wheat/horse property west of Dubbo.
The position involves all aspects of animal health, relating to sheep and horses, as well
as the maintenance of the property and buildings.
Work involves, but not limited to
• mustering on 4-wheel bikes,
• working with horses
• working in sheep yards,
• fencing
• spraying
• gardening
• painting of buildings
Five days per week leaving the weekend to enjoy the beautiful scenery, flora and fauna.
Comfortable airconditioned accommodation provided and eligible for 88day sign off if
needed.
Applicants must be experienced with horses, physically capable, honest, neat and tidy
and have a good command of English.

Living
Rent, utilities and car use taken out of pay.
We are located 60KLM from Warren and 2 hrs west of Dubbo.

Must provide own food in self catering cottage. 
Pay rates and accommodation deductions based on award wage structure.
