Nathan, 18, Male, Canada
Competent plumber / farm worker with machinery and livestock experience, competent western horse rider and keen hunter. Seeking work 3-6 months, ideally with his mate Doran, keen to work with sheep, horses /cattle and crop/ machinery sectors during his time here.
Nathan is from Alberta. He completed high school and has been working part time, in school holidays since age 15, and full time since leaving school. Definitely keen on a country based career, perhaps agronomist or agricultural mechanic.
His work experience has been as a plumber’s assistant / offsider in the construction industry, on grain farms carting grain and assisting with harvest, and on a separate farm working with cattle, sheep and chickens. Has worked pretty much every non school moment.
IN AUSTRALIA
Approx 2 months on a large 7000 sheep and 1000 cattle station, fencing, moving animals. Good references.

BACK HOME:
Mid 2020 until present, he started assisting journeyman plumber on various projects. He's also working on a farm at the same time as a farm hand - operating and driving tractor, bailing, raking hay, operating skid steer, fencing, repair, and general equipment maintenance.
Competent rider, has ridden paddocks and arenas for 1y, and using horse as pack animals for hunting trips, able to ride at all speeds. Very keen to learn mustering / roping and other similar horse / cattle skills.
Ful driving licence; he has been actively driving a range of vehicles for 6 years. Tractors (NH,Massey mostly) and trailers 1,000+hrs, 500+hrs combine, side by side, swathers 200+hrs. Some mech. Skills & exp and has been taking mechanical and welding classes.
Confident, down to earth, good communicator. Loves hunting, shooting, elk, deer, bear. Enjoys ice hockey and lacrosse. Fit, active, used to a practical and outdoor working life. 195cm & 77kg

Has been working on this and other farms since age 12; a combination of part time / school holiday jobs, raking hay, feeding out cattle, baling, carting grain, combine work, cutting sileage etc. Has also worked weekends on a chicken farm.

Has been driving for 10 years, has class 3 truck licence (rigid), and many hundreds of hours on John Deere, JCB, Fendt, Case tractors. Also dirt bikes (owns a 250cc dirtbike ) Mechanical experience picked up along the way.
A competent and experienced western rider, has ridden since a child. He competes in team penning for the last 2 years, has competed at the Calgary Stampede and at other events and show around towns and cities. Very keen to use these skills here in AUS.
