General Information
My name is Peter Robertson. My Wife Netta and I run a 200,000 acre wagyu Cattle stud in western qld.


We have 6000 cows plus progeny and grow steers out for our export markets in Asia and Europe. We have a feedlot as well as paddock raised cattle.

Typical duties
Need energetic people for cattle work and general station duties. New air con accom with ensuites . May suit couple with one full time outside and other part time outside with some horse work and gardening/ mixed household.
Working conditions and payrate
Will accept smokers and fussy eaters (if they cook for themselves)
Preferred attributes / requirements
All stock work is performed on 2 wheeler & occasionally quad bikes, horse experience, is beneficial outside of stock work for social & weekend horse sports/disciplines. Ability to work in a team environment and maintaining domestic chores/animals in small absences when we're away on business is expected. Role is active participation in stock work, water runs, light machinery, work and property improvements (ie fencing/water facilities, etc.)

PayrateAward; wages negotiable around award salary

Living and accommodation
Fully furnished, self-contained 2-3 bedroom cottages. For meals, beef is provided but meals & groceries are own responsibility & cost. NO mobile coverage, Wi-Fi & internet; landline phone. 4x4 manual car available in the farm.

Bus to longreach; 230 kms to nearby town
