Our job here is mainly cattle husbandry, which is mustering, feeding, vaccinating and checking waters. We do all our cattle work on horses and bikes, and we do have some station duties such as spraying regrowth and checking fence lines.

Cattle Station - a family cattle property breeding Brangus stud and commercial breeders, 1200 cattle.
Family owned and operated, smaller scale and very friendly set up.
Work here at Charlevue is mainly looking after beef cattle and stud cattle. We feed cattle everyday plus take care of the fences and waters. We have 1200 breeding cows plus 400 replacement heifers. We are currently stocking about 100 bulls which we sell via auction and paddock sales. Charlevue is a beautiful property which is situated at the bottom of Blackdown tablelands national park. The country to us is so very beautiful but like all of Australia it gets quite dry. This means we do have quite a lot of poddies which we feed on milkers everyday. We have a total of approximately 15 dairy cows and can have up to 30 poddies in at those dry time. There is a lot of vet work here as we try to check all young females when they calve also we do have some show cattle and we also do show steers.
Typical duties
- Feeding and cattle husbandry.
- Some tractor Work
- Mustering, fencing, spraying weeds and regrowth
Living and Travel
All meals are prepared and provided. Cannot cope with fussy eaters
Phone and starlink internet available.
Vehicle available.
30 mins kms to Blackwater
-Most weekends off
- Will not accept unvaccinated Australian
- Will not accept smokers
150 km inland from Rockampton (Rockie is 650km N of Brisbane)
Travel is Bus, train or plane to Rockhampton, and then Bus to Dingo. Will be met at the bus in Dingo.
Pay Information
Award wages.
2nd Visa eligible work.
