Horses, sheep and cattle
Black Range is a family run operation consisting of 5 properties, all within 20 minutes drive from Yass. We have a great team of experienced and friendly workers and are looking to expand our team to assist with our busy season ahead. The work is varied and mostly done in teams, with many new skills to be picked up along the way for a willing and enthusiastic person.
- Station work
- Good rider (polo)
- Sheep and cattle work
Typical duties
1x required for lots of General farm work, we are about to start doing lots of stock work (sheep and cattle), feeding livestock with tractors, as soon as it rains we will begin our farming operations so possibility to do more machinery driving ploughing paddocks etc.
*Must be able to drive manual and 2-wheel bike.
Living
Accommodation provided - 3 bedroom house + garden. Meals/food NOT provided. 5G telephone reception. Vehicle available. 20 minutes distance to nearby town. Most weekends off.
Working conditions and Pay
Stock work: sheep work - lamb marking, shearing, and cattle work
crop work: yes
Other duties: property maintenance
Holidays: 4 weeks per year
Award - $850 per week less tax (accommodation + electricity included)
