Large scale pig production - very well run and organised family business employing 25 people.
10,000 acres farmed, approx. 1200 piglets born each week.
Typical duties
Pig farm worker / pig attendants for the newborn shed
Some construction and general farming projects
Living
Self catering accommodation provided, small charge made for accommodation.
Nearest town is Biloela, 14km away.
Car may be available if required for occasional use.
Travel
15km North of Biloela, SE QLD (Biloela Population 5,500)
Normally Bus to Biloela from Brisbane, or train to Gladstone
Working conditions and Pay
Award wages, full time hours and shifts, typically 38 or more hours per week depending on rolle and abilities.
