Baramul Stud in the Widden Valley requires staff with experience in handling young horses.
Baramul is a large scale thoroughbred horse Stud, It is a very professional thoroughbred stud operation located in the Hunter Valley NSW, Foaling approx. 150 mares and preparing 100 yearlings each year for major sales.

Typical duties
Depending on skills and experience, all aspects of stable work, breeding, handling and sales presentations.

General Stud hand: duties would involve general stud duties with mares and foals, preparing yearlings for sale, off season maintenance work, foal and weanling handling, handling for vet or farrier

Experience and skills required / desirable
Handling young horses requires experience, confidence and physical presence. 
They are young uneducated horses and so a big part of their preparation is educating them in preparation for the yearling sales in January. 

The Team:
Team of approx.  50-60 people maximum. Very busy professional operation

Shared accommodation, supply own food, no mobile reception, WIFI available at common room.

NSW TrainLink from Sydney to Muswellbrook

Working conditions and Pay 
Award wages. Typically approx 40 hours per week.
