"My job involved getting yearlings ready for the sales and taking care if all the other horses. Grooming, washing, walking, feeding, mixing feeds, desensitizing, give medication etc. Besides that I did general farm work like cleaning boxes and keeping the area tidy.
I learned a lot about working with thoroughbreds and mostly yearlings. Handled a lot of different horses, yearlings, mares with foals. I would like to work with animals and I really wanne be able to ride in my free time since I miss it a lot from home. Besides that I don’t really mind what kind of farm it is. I drove around a lot in heavy loaded manual cars and buggies. I’ve used blowers daily."
