"I learned a lot about horse handling, especially with young horses. I worked closely with an experienced horseman who taught me how to safely handle, groom, and manage thoroughbreds. I gained confidence working around large animals and learned how to read their behaviour and stay calm and patient in different situations.
I’d love to work with animals.
I’m very interested in learning more about working horses used for practical station work, such as mustering cattle or sheep and general transport. I enjoy working with horses and would love the opportunity to develop my skills in that area.
One of my biggest wish for my next job is that I’d want to be able to ride on my spare time.
I gained practical experience driving buggies around the farm and driving manual vehicles. I also learned how to reverse and manoeuvre trailers."
