Kyra is 22 from Derbyshire in the UK
BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare (Clinical) at Harper Adams Agricultural University.
She has a good work and volunteer experience / history which includes warehouse work, (3 roles) dairy farm milking and general duties, lambing, self-employed dog walking, and livery farm groom work.
Her future plan is to work with animals in agriculture when she returns back to the UK.

In Australia
3 months experience on a sheep and crop property here in Australia
her tasks involved the following
Working with sheep, machinery and general maintenance of the farm. Main tasks was general farm maintenance such as dam silting and fixing fences when harvest was done. Whilst harvest was being done, she serviced the combines each day, as well as performed drop pan tests and helped with fixing any problems that occurred.
Used a front loading tractor. Used this to help with hay stacking and loading. Did a little bit of chaser bin driving during harvest. Used tractors to help with dam silting.​

Worked on a dairy farm for placement July 2023-May 2024 in New Zealand. Before this did tractor, telehandler and quad bike training at uni see employment history
 
Equine / equestrian: 
Can ride a horse as a beginner, short term work experience as a groom and stablehand. Enjoys being around animals, and to learn more about detailed aspects of animal care, so very keen to be taught and learn more.

Has basic practical skills, but very happy being hands on, and very keen to learn as much as possible

Driving & vehicles - Car, motorbike, tractor and telehandler
Holds a drivers licence both manual + auto
Motor bike - used on farm at least 20 hours a week over the 10 months.
Telehandler at least 3 hours a week. Tractor 3 hours over 2 week period. Quad bike once for about an hour when volunteering lambing
