WORK IN AUS
Lola has completed 2 months as a general stable hand at Widden Stud.
(This was shorter than planned; she had to leave for personal / family reasons, however she received positive report from the Manager there, they were disappointed she had to leave)
Her main duties were stable cleaning, feeding horses, site tidying and basic maintenance.

Lola is 19 from Belgium
She has completed high school this year and qualified for university but is not yet sure if she will continue on an academic path.
Employment History
Lola has worked part-time as a babysitter for the last three years, (2022 - present) covering all aspects of childcare for children aged 2 to 12
She has also workplace work experience internships organised by her school; one for three weeks in the medical sector for high-level sportsmen / athletes, and a second internship at a business management organisation.
Aims and Motivations here in Australia
Lola aims to work with horses in any role, broadening her skills and experience in the world of work. Her secondary aim is to develop confidence in her spoken English. Her intention is to become bilingual so she can work internationally.
Equine / equestrian skills / experience
Horse riding (2016 - 2023)
She has been riding horses in every spare moment for seven years, but has done less in the last 1.5 years because of school commitments. In particular this includes equestrian vaulting, show jumping, dressage, ground work, and cross-country riding.
In equestrian vaulting, as a younger teenager she was part of the team that was national champions in 2018 and vice champion in 2019.
She competed for four years in showjumping, culminating in the french national championships for showjumping in 2018 and 2019.
Practical skills / trade skills
Lola is familiar with all aspects of and preparing horses for training or competition.

Full driving licence, 1 year, a confident manual driver and loves to drive
