PROFILE INFORMATION
BACK AT HOME
Zuriel is 25 from Norway
High School (Norway): Specialized in Industrial Mechanics and STEM fields (Completed 3 years). Opted not to pursue the additional 2 years required to become a certified tradesperson.

Higher Vocational College: One-year course in Digital Marketing.

Zuriel plans to gain more hands-on experience through work and travel, with the goal of eventually applying to a Danish Business and Leadership School.

In Australia and NZ
Zuriel worked on a cattle station in Aus for 4 months in Qld after the season is finished he then go to NZ to continue work and travelling.

"At the station in QLD, we are only 2-4 people when we mustered and drafted all the cattle, so I learned a LOT about low-stress cattle work, to have a safe work environment and effective processing. With some practice, I got way calmer around cattle when I learned their language, which rubbed off on the cattle and made the process smoother. In NZ, I learned heaps about horse riding, and apparently have a natural seat and talent for it, riding different horses with different temperament from quiet to unruly horses. Mostly quads and 4WDs when it comes to vehicles. When it comes to other practical skills, I learned proper fencing relatively quickly and got to fix some pipes, water troughs, and miscellaneous stuff.
In New Zealand, I got to broaden my perspective on how different stations were run, a slightly different culture, and help with pest control and odd jobs in the North Island, Chatham, and Pitt Island, where I met more lovely people from all walks of life. One thing that I learned over the past months is that I have a really good ability to take in information and learn new skills quickly, and I like being part of a community.
