WORK IN AUS AND BACK HOME
Sixto completed a 5 year hospitality industry training 5 years ago. He worked for 5 years in hotels and resorts for summer and winter seasons around Europe before travelling to Australia.
Now in his 2nd visa year, he is seeking 3rd visa qualifying work. He has worked in various roles here in AUS, but mostly in The Australian Prawn Company, for a total of approx. 7 months. Much of this was warehouse work and he is keen to get outside in to the fresh air.
Hospitality Diploma (5 years) all branches of hospitality industry (hotel, bar, restaurant etc)
Employment History
February 2024 - Present; Australian Prawns Co - Packing room (2 work periods, 6 months total) (travel periods in between)
Duties include cooking, packing, cool room - all duties as part of a team of 10+ workers
Nov 23- Feb 24 Australian Choice meat packing factory - 3 months
Dec 21-Nov 23 (2yrs, seasonal ) Hotel waiter and barman at business hotel in N Italy
Oct 2019 - Nov 2021
Construction labourer, part time / occasional - Demolishing walls or removing old tiles. Preparation of
conglomerates (cement, concrete).
2017-21 - seasonal hospitality work in summer and winter resorts all over Italy
Other activities include some travel, volunteering in Thailand on a small farm.
Aims and Motivations here in Australia
His aims now are to complete more farm work, to qualify for 3rd visa, but most importantly to develop more skills and abilities outside with livestock, farm machinery and maintenance, and fencing.

Has been brought up with chickens and pigs at home, and some volunteering experience on a small farm in Thailand.

No experience with horses but keen to learn if the opportunity arises.

Licence (manual + auto) for 9 years Confident driver. Own vehicle here in AUS.
Practical skills / trade skills
Construction labourer experience, demolishing walls, removing old tiles, cement and concrete preparation.

Can cook for himself and knows how to prepare pasta and pizza. Experienced in and around commercial kitchens in hotels and restaurants
