Employment History
3.5 years as apprentice mechanic for construction machinery, dairy and sheep farming in Iceland, on the Faroe Islands, Denmark and Ireland.
 
Germany - 2020 - 2024 - Mechanic apprentice as part of a construction company (practical work as part of his study to become a mechanic for construction machinery).
The job was focused on servicing construction and mining machinery (40 hours per week)
 
Iceland - 2024 (3 months - 40 hours/week)
Worked on various sheep and dairy farms in Iceland
-  feeding the farm animals
- supporting sheep and cows in the birthing process
- marking and giving medicine to the newborn lambs and calves
- castrating the rams
- milking cows twice a day
 
Faroe Islands - 2024 (3 months - 40 hours/week)
Working on a sheep farm on the Faroe Islands
- mustering the sheep from the mountains
- shearing the sheep
- slaughtering the lambs
- producing haylage (fodder) for the winter
 
Denmark - 2024 (1 month - 50-70 hours per week) Working on a 1200 Head dairy farm in Denmark
- feeding the farm animals
- milking the cows twice a day
- giving medicine to sick cow‘s
- taking care of the calves
- cleaning and preparing the bedding
 
Ireland - 2025 (March - 50 hours per week)
Working on a 200 cow‘s dairy farm on Ireland
- milking twice a day

Farm / Livestock
Was born in Namibia (Africa) and raised on a farm as a young child.
Has worked on various sheep and dairy farms in Iceland, Faroe Islands, Denmark & Ireland.
Completed a large number of animal husbandry tasks whilst in these jobs and has had good exposure to day to day care of cattle and sheep. Keen to have his own farm in the future. Refer to employment section of profile for further details of tasked completed.
