Horses: Move and load hay onto a manual utility vehicle, prepared 20 feed buckets tailored to each horse's dietary needs. Drove across the property to feed all horses, refilled water troughs, operated the feed silo. Assisted with catching horses and orally administering dewormer to all 20 horses. Managed the relocation of horses into new paddocks post-treatment.
Gardening: Independently managed a large garden undergoing full renovation. Digging out weeds from stone pathways, veranda, and soil flowerbeds. Applied weed killer, trimmed and pruned trees, hedges and various plants using a variety of garden tools. Relocated and replanted plants and add mulch. Maintained regular watering.
Poddy Lamb Care: Took complete responsibility for raising a poddy lamb from four days old till two months. Preparing lamb milk formula and bottle feeding every four hours—including night feeds and weaned onto solid foods. Responsible for cleaning and monitored health, identified signs of pneumonia, administered antibiotic injections.
House Sitting & Property care: Took full responsibility to manage and oversee the property and all animals for 2 weeks. Included feeding and caring for horses, lamb, five dogs, and two cats. Walked dogs daily. Monitored feed supplies and collected replacement hay and chaff for horses.
Vehicle Use: Daily use of a manual utility vehicle. Tasks included attaching, moving, and unloading a horse box. Operated a tractor with front fork and bucket attachment. Regularly completed a 2-hour round-trip to collect hay, lifting and stacking 20 bales onto the vehicle and securing them with ratchet straps.
General Maintenance & Odd Jobs: Completed various property maintenance tasks, including boarding up stable cracks and setting rat traps. Cleaned out gutters.
Stable Organization: Complete deep clean and restructured of stable storage areas
Personal Assistance for employer: Provided personal assistance to the property owner, including driving vehicle to and from appointments and assist with shopping.
