Tirsa is from Holland.  
She is from a family farm, breeding and milking goats.  
She has completed high school and completed her diploma in law enforcement there.  
She plans a career in farming back home - particulary with goats or driving trucks for live fish transport.

In Australia

Her daily duties involved
-mustering
-sheep shearing
-weed chipping in the paddocks
-General Farm maintenance
 she had a short contract doing cattle work in yards, tag removal, dehorning, cattle injections and some pulling down of fences. - in central Queensland.
 
Employment History 
she has worked in dairy farms, supermarkets, in general retail and in hospitality.  
 
2023-25 - full-time milking goats (1500) and farmhand caring for calves (800). 
2021-22 - part-time milker (five hours per week) 
2021-22 - supermarket cashier, part-time 16 hours per week 
2022-23 - restaurant waitress and server, 30 hours per week 
 
She has also had part-time occasional jobs as an animal and pet care taker 
 
Aims and Motivations here in Australia 
her aims here in Australia are to broaden her agricultural skills and knowledge, develop her independence, and 
save funds for travel and to support her studies.  
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES  
Farm / Livestock 
Tirsa has worked on a family friends goat farm and has worked full-time for the last two years, as well as being brought up 
around animals. Her main responsibilities on the farm were milking 1500 goats and taking day-to-day care & of 
800 calves.  Working weeks were between 40-50 hours per week.
 
Equine / equestrian  
She considers herself a beginner + level rider, she can walk trot and canter, has occasional experience of 
stable work and general horse care as they have Belgian horses at home, but these horses are rarely ridden.  
She does enjoy occasional recreational forest rides with her mother.  
 
Driving & vehicles  
Full driving licence, manual and auto for two years.  
Considers herself a competent and capable driver. 
  
Has some experience of small tractors, wheeled loader with forks, (both at the farm) and a small automatic 
scooter for commuting to school.  
She has also driven a truck but not on the public road. 
 
Practical skills / trade skills  
Used to day-to-day practical tasks around the farm, but no specific mechanical or technical skills 
Has had plenty of experience cleaning & maintaining machinery used for farm work, more specifically milking.

Domestic, cook and childcare etc 
Capable of cooking for herself and her family, also has some childcare experience within her family. Occasional 
childcare babysitting tasks   
 
Hobbies, other skills and interests  
Likes to go horse riding with her mum in the woods, prefers to do something fun with friends, and loves 
singing and listening to music. 
 
Personal 
Friendly, sociable, outgoing, engaged, enjoys being practical and hands-on, empathetic and adventurous 
no problem at all with dirt and hard work, she loves to keep busy. 
 
Fitness 
Good fitness, but used to working on her feet in a farm environment
