2022-24 - ice cream maker and server at Gelato Rumba (part-time and full-time in holidays)
6/24 to present – insurance Sales Agent for Youi. (6 months full-time)
Aims and Motivations
Molly has realised that office work / insurance sales is not what she wants to be doing full-time in the future, even though she has been good at it. She knows she is good at practical hands-on work, and so is now looking to get a foot in the door and make a start with an agricultural career.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Farm / Livestock
My grandparents owned a farm that I visited and helped with when I was little, so I am familiar with the basics of small-scale cattle work. She has had a long term interest in livestock, particularly cattle and sheep, and she is also a keen horse rider.
Equine / equestrian
Molly is a beginner rider. She had access to a pony as a child which she loved, and has spent the last six months getting back into riding with a view to developing skills that will be useful on cattle stations.
She loves horses and is very keen to learn much more.
Driving & vehicles
automatic driving licence, has her green P plates; very keen and determined to get a full manual test as soon as possible and hopes for the opportunity to practice on farm.
Practical skills / trade skills
Enjoys being hands-on, has done some wood and metal work at school, including basic Mig welding.
Domestic, cook and childcare etc
Is a capable cook for family and friends, loves baking, has done some childcare / babysitting along the way.
