Eila is from the fjord lands of coastal Norway.
She has completed high school with a focus on sports and physical education and has qualified for university.
She completed a four month course in Spanish, sustainability and environmental studies on an exchange programme to Costa Rica. She has ties to the Sami indigenous people of Northern Norway.
She plans to study at University and hopes to have a career helping people, either through journalism or social and human rights projects.

Farm / Livestock
Eila grew up on a small scale family hobby / sheep farm, and is familiar with daily farming tasks.
She has also grown up riding horses on her neighbours farm. Age 15 she completed a course in animal husbandry, focused on cattle, but she has slightly more experience with sheep and horses.
Equine / equestrian
Eila has been riding horses since age 5, riding with her neighbour. Her riding has been recreational, mostly to her early teens, and she has had formal and informal lessons along the way. She has taken part in all the stable work on a regular basis (several days each week) but has not ridden so much in the last 10 years. She remains passionately interested in horses realises that she will need learn and relearn to bring her experience and skills up-to-date. Considers herself an intermediate recreational rider, and loves to be around horses.
Driving & vehicles
Manual and automatic licence for 4 years.
Has experience driving quad bikes, snowmobiles, some two wheel motorbike riding, also military tracked vehicle driving.
Practical skills / trade skills
As a country and farm girl she considers herself practical without being an expert. Always willing to have a go at fixing things, mending or general maintenance. Has gained fair basic mechanical awareness from working at the garage/petrol station, and her military experience gave her some confidence with more advanced technical stuff.

Eila was involved with several youth organisations during her teens, and was a youth group leader that organised organised trips and training.
